Rob Davis Band is Top Ten on ReverbNation R&B Chart

I consider “Together” to be my signature, original song. I’ve written many before and since, but when I sit down, just me and my guitar, its always where I start and the song that brings me back to that part of me. I wrote it for someone I cared for deeply, who looms large in my pantheon of love. It has also served me well over the years when called for and I must admit that whether the original soft-rock recording on the album with the same name, or this latest R&B version, it still gives me goose-bumps. The major influences on my music at the time were James Taylor, John Denver and Cat Stevens.  So my thanks to them for their their assistance to my creative process.  The new version you are listening to today reflects the influences of my favorite, contemporary artists:  John Legend and Usher.
