Genevieve starring with Robert Wuhl in Neil Simon's "You Ought To Be in Pictures"

About five years ago I started to rekindle my love for performing music. It began when Genevieve, my stand-up comic daughter, AKA, called me one night.

“Dad! A bunch of us finished the “open mic” at the Comedy Cellar (a stand-up dive in the Village)and we’re all over here at The Fat Black PussyCat on West 3rd, across from the Blue Note. Hey, its really close to where you live now. Come on over and join us!”

“Dad! Come on, you know you love Karaoke!”

“Well maybe, but I’m way out of practice.”

“So who cares? Its just for fun! Everybody, in this group at least, stinks! Come on, you’ll fit right in…(silence)…DAD! I’m kidding!”

“Ok, ok. I’m leaving. See you in a few”

And that’s how it started.
